Dragonfly in white, black and burgundy variation - Nov 2008'
Gemma married Andrew at Yosemite National Park, California on 2nd November 2008. Gemma had a unique variation of the Dragonfly Queen design/Anenome. Made of pure white silk, with black/burgundy nets, with embroidered dragonflies and ribbons going over the swags.
Also made was a very full cloak in black silk, lined in a rich burgundy silk. Victorian boots in black silk and a silver and swarovski crystal necklace and dragonfly hair pins was made to compliment the design.
'Everything went really well and the dress was amazing, thank you so much for everything. We have the wedding reception tomorrow night so lucky me i get to wear the dress again :-) I have had so many nice comments on the dress and i forget how many times on the day i was told i looked like a princess by complete strangers! Someone who works with my mum said i made the perfect bride and that the dress was amazing, like nothing she has ever seen before and it suited me perfectly. Every time someone mentions they are getting married now i give them your website and tell them that they have to look, although secretly i just want an excuse to come back down to your beautiful showroom! Thank you again for all that you did you really are one of the most talented people i have had the good fortune to come across, i hope you get as much pleasure from your work that you give to all the people who are lucky enough to have you make thier dresses. You really helped make my wedding as perfect as it could have been and ive never felt so fabulous! I suppose all thats left to do now is think of another excuse to wear it! speak soon A million more thank yous Gemma xxx'
