'Dragonfly, in peacock colours'- July 10'.
Judith had a variation on the Classic dragonfly design. Made up with a curvy hourglass shaped corset, with graduated strap in a fitted bolero jacket with frilled silk chiffon cuffs, in a purple/green silk. With the fish tale backed skirt, in the same colours as the peacock design, Indigo silk . The embroidery was done in subtle tones of green and purples with a hint of pink, which was carried through to the double ribbon laces.
'Dear Janice Thank you so much for the most amazing dress. I felt so special. Your ears must have been burning, because absolutely everyone commented on what a wonderful creation it was and how lucky I was to have found such a talented person to make my dress for me. Not only did you make the dress, you also travelled all the way to Lancashire to make sure it was fitted properly on the day and you ironed my sons' shirts!! What a star. Thankyou again for making mine and everyone elses day. Paul's mum said it was the best wedding she had been to ...... and she's been to quite a few. Judith xx'
Judith also had a deep wire work necklace with back drop made to match her dress.
