Deep purple Silk Taffeta with rich crushed velvet...
Jen was married at Durn House, in Portsoy, just North of Aberdeen. Which has a beautiful old port which we luckily had time to catch the winter light and get some stunning shots looking out over the sea. Jen had a three piece design made of a long line hourglass corset in purple silk taffeta, with a silver stars embroidery and Swarovski crystal embellishments, with a purple crushed velvet fitted bolero jacket with following silk Georgette sleeves, finishing with an A line draped front skirt going into a small pleated train, with pewter embroidered Celtic Angel, and matching Dolly bag.
Uptight also made the headdress, necklace, and done the hair and make up on the day.
Jens dress was lined in Pewter silk, to match the Pewter Star embroidery, and the Celtic Angel on the train and bag.
'Dear Janice, We would both like to thank you so much for all your help with our wedding. You are such an amazing and talented lady! I know I made the right choice getting my dress made by you, but I couldn't have imagined how it could transform someone who hates their body into some one who was happy to be the center of attention and getting well photographed! I felt fantastic! As far as the jewellery- stunning, handfasting cord-beautiful and on top of that you travelled the length of the UK to keep me clam, dress me, do hair, nails and make up-I couldn't have done it with out you and really appreciate that you did all this while feeling unwell! Lots of love from Steve and Jen xxx'
