Purple Sparkles-Nov 2012
Purple & Red shot silk...
Sarah was married at a stunning castle in Scotland. She had an original design variation in purple silks, of an hourglass corset in purple silk, with silk chiffon cutwork, embroidery and swarovski crystals, and a fitted bolero jacket in silk, with silk chiffon frilled sleeves cuffs. A full pleated ball gown skirt, made from layers of pink and purple net, toppd of with the purple shot silk.
The below stunning photographs are kindly supplied by Sarah who's photographer was Julie Winspear Photography.
Cant beat a pair of Docs for climbing around a castle all day!
Uptight Clothing also made the silver wire work tiara.
'I can’t express just how comfortable it was! I successfully managed the spiral staircase up and down again and ate a 4 course hearty meal, whilst sitting down – all with no bother at all. it was like a second skin and is testament to the fact that made to measure is the best way to make a wedding dress. Thank you for your wonderful contribution to our special day. Even the castle commented that it was nice to host a wedding that was a little bit different and the dress was a bit part of it. Everyone – all the guests and people who have seen the pictures have complimented it – the colour, the detail, the craftsmanship – all superb and made a dream come true! If you want any further anecdotes or info that might help a future bride then I would be more than happy to contribute! Lots of love Sarah '
